Themes in my artwork revolve around the cycles of life, the play between inner and outer worlds, and beauty. My explorations are nourished by a sense of openness, free from attachment, and where birth, life and death serve as anchors.
Red
Fire acts as the catalyst for renewal.
Red burns through each piece as a vital reminder to stop in this moment and trust the blaze.
Engage in the liberating act of releasing attachments to the past, lingering regrets, resentments, and expectations for the future. Recognizing and releasing what no longer serves, we offer these parts to the flames.
Pause and hear the crackles, which deliver the promise of imminent transformation.
Light Blue
As ashes settle, a quiet, airy and translucent space emerges.
These works evoke a sense of clarity and suspended time. Like breath on glass, an ephemeral quality emerges.
Space is now conducive to creating what truly matters, to welcome new perspectives, relationships, and experiences.
The evanescent glow of possibility is observed.
White to Life
Let us observe the precise moment when a seed becomes a seedling, when a thought becomes a word.
This series is about emergence and calling forth intuition to lead.
In fertile space, and following a natural impulse, colors alchemize into insistent forms that pierce and arise.
Propelled by instinct, shapes are festooning their bold, visceral, radiant tones, fully aware of their nascent vitality and vivacity.
Dark Blue
The inner self matures from seedling to lush ecosphere.
Deep, immersive shades manifest introspection, dimensionality and insightfulness. Essence grows unconfined.
The fertile fragments have been reverently honored.
The wise inner cosmos bows to the way of the cycle.
Trio
In this trio of portraits, the head becomes a stage which is adorned, encumbered, exalted. These figures appear as part oracle and part enigma. Their elaborate headgear suggests imagination, absurdity and grandeur of mental constructs.
